Each order of dubia roaches is carefully packed in either a deli cup or a sturdy perforated box. These containers are chosen based on the size of the order. Deli cups are ideal for smaller quantities, while larger orders may be packed in boxes. Regardless of the container, we make sure that they are all perforated to allow airflow and prevent any build-up of moisture or heat during transit. These little ventilation holes are crucial for the health of the roaches.
2. A Safe Place to Hide
Roaches need a safe space to hide during the journey. To ensure they feel secure, we add a piece of egg carton to each container. This gives them a place to cling to, reducing stress during their trip. The egg carton mimics their natural environment and provides comfort as they travel to their new home.
3. Food and Moisture for the Road
To keep your roaches hydrated and nourished during transit, we include a small piece of pumpkin or other similar produce. This provides not only moisture but also nutrition. The roaches munch on it during their journey, ensuring that they arrive in top condition, ready to feed your pets.

Once the roaches are safely inside their container, we carefully pack them all into a cardboard shipping box with plenty of paper packaging material. We understand that shipping in colder temperatures can be challenging. To protect your roaches from the cold, we include a heat pack in all orders when temperatures drop below 40°F. Additionally, in colder weather, we line the inside of the box with foil to help retain heat and ensure your roaches stay warm throughout their journey. This extra care ensures that no matter the season, your order arrives in the best possible condition.
